Terms of service
Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: January 1, 2026
Welcome to Precision Personal Customs. By accessing our website, placing an order, or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
By placing an order, you further acknowledge that Precision Personal Customs begins performing custom design and administrative services immediately after purchase, prior to physical manufacturing, and that these services constitute work performed on your behalf.
1. Orders
All products sold by Precision Personal Customs are custom-made to order.
Customers are responsible for reviewing all order information before submitting an order, including but not limited to:
- Uploaded artwork
- Logos
- Design files
- Text and spelling
- Size selection
- Color selection
- Shipping address
- Contact information
Precision Personal Customs is not responsible for customer-submitted errors.
Customers represent that they own, or have permission to use, any artwork, logo, trademark, or design submitted for production.
1A. Immediate Commencement of Services
Immediately after an order is placed, Precision Personal Customs begins providing custom services on the customer's behalf.
These services may include, but are not limited to:
- Artwork review
- Logo cleanup
- Vectorization
- Engineering for manufacturability
- Structural modifications required for laser cutting
- Design proof creation
- File preparation
- Administrative review
- Customer communication
- Project management
These services constitute work performed regardless of whether physical manufacturing has begun.
1B. Design Proof Approval & Abandoned Orders
Many orders include a complimentary design proof prior to manufacturing.
Production intentionally does not begin until the customer approves the design proof.
Customers acknowledge and agree that:
- They are solely responsible for monitoring the email address provided at checkout.
- They are responsible for checking spam, junk, promotions, filtered folders, and any email forwarding rules.
- Failure to receive or review an email due to customer email settings does not relieve the customer of these responsibilities.
Precision Personal Customs will make reasonable efforts to obtain proof approval.
If no response is received within 30 calendar days after the initial proof is sent, despite reasonable attempts to contact the customer, the order will be deemed voluntarily abandoned by the customer.
The customer's failure to respond does not constitute failure by Precision Personal Customs to perform its obligations.
Precision Personal Customs fulfills its contractual obligations by completing the requested design work, preparing the project, and making reasonable attempts to obtain customer approval.
Because substantial custom work has already been completed—including design services, engineering, file preparation, and administrative labor—abandoned orders are not eligible for cancellation or refund.
Precision Personal Customs may, at its sole discretion, reopen an abandoned order if contacted after the 30-day period. Updated production schedules and pricing may apply.
Customers acknowledge that Precision Personal Customs remains ready, willing, and able to manufacture and deliver every custom order upon receipt of required proof approval.
2. Cancellations
Orders may be canceled only before custom design work begins.
Once any of the following has started, cancellation requests may be denied:
- Design work
- Proof creation
- Artwork modification
- Vectorization
- File preparation
- Manufacturing preparation
- Production
A customer's failure to respond shall not be interpreted as a cancellation request.
Orders remain active until completed or deemed abandoned under these Terms.
3. Returns & Refunds
Because every product is custom-made specifically for each customer, all sales are final once custom work has begun.
Precision Personal Customs does not accept returns or provide refunds for custom products except where required by law.
Refunds are not available for:
- Approved custom orders
- Orders in production
- Completed design work
- Abandoned orders
- Customer-submitted errors
If an item arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from the approved proof, customers must notify us within 7 days of delivery so that we may resolve the issue.
4. Production & Shipping
Production begins only after proof approval when a proof is required.
Customers acknowledge that shipment cannot occur until required proof approval has been received.
Failure to approve a design proof prevents Precision Personal Customs from manufacturing and shipping the order.
Estimated production and shipping times are estimates only and may vary due to:
- Carrier delays
- Holidays
- Weather
- Supply chain interruptions
- Equipment maintenance
- High order volume
- Other circumstances outside our reasonable control
Customers are responsible for providing the correct shipping address.
Precision Personal Customs is not responsible for delays, theft, or loss occurring after delivery has been confirmed by the shipping carrier.
5. Intellectual Property
All website content, graphics, photographs, proofs, engineering files, vector artwork, manufacturing files, designs, and marketing materials remain the intellectual property of Precision Personal Customs unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Customers warrant that any uploaded logos, artwork, or trademarks are owned by them or that they possess all necessary permissions.
Unless a customer requests otherwise before production begins, Precision Personal Customs may photograph, display, and use completed projects, mockups, and finished products for:
- Website galleries
- Social media
- Advertising
- Email marketing
- Promotional materials
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Precision Personal Customs shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages arising from the use of our products or services.
Our maximum liability shall never exceed the purchase price paid for the affected order.
7. Privacy
Customer information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Customers agree to contact Precision Personal Customs before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute so that we have an opportunity to resolve any concerns.
By placing an order, customers acknowledge that:
- Custom design services begin immediately after purchase.
- Physical manufacturing may intentionally be delayed pending proof approval.
- Shipment cannot occur until required proof approval has been received.
- Custom design work constitutes services performed on the customer's behalf even if physical manufacturing has not yet begun.
- Failure to respond to proof approval requests does not constitute failure by Precision Personal Customs to perform.
Customers acknowledge that initiating a chargeback does not invalidate these Terms & Conditions.
Precision Personal Customs reserves the right to provide all relevant documentation in response to any payment dispute, including but not limited to:
- Order confirmations
- Checkout records
- Accepted Terms & Conditions
- Uploaded customer artwork
- Design proofs
- Email communications
- Reminder emails
- Approval history
- Project files
- Production records
- Shipping records
- Delivery confirmation
- Website policies
- Internal project documentation
Customers acknowledge that failure to approve a required proof prevents shipment and shall not constitute "item not received" where shipment was prevented solely due to the customer's failure to provide required approval.
9. Changes to These Terms
Precision Personal Customs reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.
The version published on our website at the time an order is placed shall govern that order.
